Moray MP Douglas Ross has commented on the fact that Morayvia has won national recognition for their aerospace and science museum, which is based in Kinloss.
Douglas said: “I’m absolutely thrilled for all the volunteers at Morayvia who have created this wonderful centre for the people of Moray and visitors to the area to enjoy.
“They thoroughly deserve this award as Museum of the Year from Aviation UK and I want to congratulate everyone involved as their success is down to the strong team behind Morayvia.
“Morayvia is a fantastic asset to have in Moray and attracts so people many people to the area. Having visited several times since they opened, I am well aware of the effort that has gone into establishing this facility, which is both interesting, educational and fun, and you don’t have to be an aviation enthusiast to enjoy a day out there.
“I recommend Morayvia as a must-see attraction in Moray as I know visitors will thoroughly enjoy their time there.”
