Moray Conservatives welcome reinstatement of recycling

Today, Moray council has reintroduced recycling collections across Moray after facing scrutiny from senior Conservatives over how collections will be undertaken in the ‘new normal’ of Covid-19. Collections will resume on a three weekly cycle at the same time as the Green bins.


As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic Moray Council decided to cancel the collection of recycled waste and close all local recycling centres across Moray. While they continue to collect general and garden waste local people have begun to raise concerns about recyclables being left uncollected.

Moray Emergency Relief Fund

A fund has been launched to provide financial relief to people in the Moray Council area suffering severe hardship, illness or poverty as a result of the Coronavirus crisis.
