Moray MP Douglas Ross called in this morning (Friday) at Keith’s Royal Mail Sorting Office to thank everyone for the hard work involved in the run-up to Christmas and to deliver some home-made Christmas biscuits for the team.
Douglas said: “Christmas is the busiest time of year for our posties and I wanted to thank them for everything they do to ensure that cards and parcels are delivered in good time.
“I know that the Christmas post puts extra pressure on everyone, whether in the sorting office or out delivering to our towns, villages and remote rural areas.
“Although it was great to meet the staff in Keith, I want to pass on my thanks to everyone at the Royal Mail and all our local sorting offices for going the extra mile to deliver Christmas greetings to the people of Moray from friends and family at home and abroad.
“After such a busy few weeks, I hope they can all enjoy some well-deserved time off over the festive period.”
