MORAY MP Douglas Ross said he was pleased to see so many people attend a drop-in event held in Forres today (Friday) to look at options for the old Leanchoil Hospital building.
Commenting after visiting the event held at the Tolbooth,Douglas said: “It was good to get along to this consultation, organised by Forres Community Council to explore sustainable options for the site going forward.
“The former hospital was built with money donated to the local community and really means a lot to the people from the town, myself included.
“That is why it’s important that people have their say on what they would like to see on the site in future. It is a beautiful building in stunning grounds, so there is a lot of potential.
“Hopefully once the responses have been gathered, then the community council and stakeholders can plan what happens next at Leanchoil.”
