MORAY MP Douglas Ross was making connections when he visited Forres Enterprise Park on Friday to see Fibre 1 Ltd which established their business in Moray a few years ago.
Douglas met with directors, Lynn Stewart and Stewart Macdonald to discuss their network business which works with major providers to provide connectivity solutions to their portfolio of business customers.
Commenting after the visit, Douglas said: “It was good to visit Fibre 1 and find out more about what the company does and hear about their plans for the future.
“It’s particularly good that they established their base in Moray creating employment opportunities as the business continues to expand and grow. It’s also really encouraging to see how committed they are to Moray through their sponsorship and I think they are a great role-model for new businesses starting in our area.
“Fibre 1 have a growing client base and as a new business starting up in Moray they have increased their turnover significantly and are ambitious about their future. As well as connectivity solutions, Fibre 1 are now providing energy contracts to their customers.
“It was a really enjoyable visit and I’m very much looking forward to seeing how this business continues to progress in the future and I wish them continued success.”
Stewart Macdonald, MD of Fibre 1 added: “It was great to see Moray MP Douglas Ross at our Fibre 1 HQ today in Forres. Very interesting discussions around fibre connectivity from a local perspective, and across our wider UK channels. Thanks to him for taking the time to visit our business.
